:: Pastel Love ::

Summer is just around the corner, and with the sun coming out, bright colours can be seen everywhere; from purple pants to fuschia pink blazers and yellow pumps! However, another trend which is creeping up on us this summer (for yet another time!) is pastels; beautiful, warm pinks and blues; there's a new trend in town, a style statement that is soft and girly :) Wearing the pearly shades from top to bottom is definitely feminine, so even thought it might not be everybody's cup of tea, its surely worth a deeper look into it! Let's get some inspirations ladies!

Baby pinks and blues, light yellows, mint greens and faded purples are definite must haves for this spring and summer! Girly feels and feminine outcomes shine through character and personality, its time to let the softer side out!

Pairing a light pink or purple with neutrals is a good way to start exploring this trend bit by bit. Searching for inspiration is quite an easy task, as this trend has been with us since Spring-Summer 2013. Never (and I mean never!)  be afraid to try something new once in a while; it might be just the thing needed to boost your confidence! ( Guilty as charged!)

Another simple way to integrate this trend into our every day wardrobe is by treating ourselves to a pastel coloured pair of skinny jeans. Pairing it with a neutral top, or even another pastel-coloured shirt and a white wedge or block heel will be a great way to enhance feminism while keeping ourselves safely in our comfort zones!

In addition, one must not forget that pastels are seen in everything, shirts, trousers, skirts, dresses, shoes,bags,clutches and even jewellery! For this reason, we could even pair previous styles and combinations, such as the circle-skirt trend, and the tucked-in chiffon-looking pieces!

As you have probably been told over and over again, the most important thing about fashion is to be yourself and have fun with it! Its not about looking fabulous, its about feeling fabulous, in your own skin :) Therefore, do not be afraid to try new things and dip your feet into new fashions and trends, but always keep in mind that it is us who create fashion, and not the other way round!

Until next time,
Look great, be great, feel great :) !
